I am a lead cycling instructor, working in Junior/ Prep Schools and Nurseries in the Greater Manchester and Warrington area responsible for delivering The National Standard for Cycling Department of Transport. I also run a business in the South Manchester area which has been hugely successful in getting adults on their bikes and to learn new skills. www.bikecoaching.co.uk
I live in Hale Cheshire. I have a huge interest in cycling and am a committee member of a local cycling club based in Altrincham. I am an active member of Trafford Cycling Forum and a campaigner for clean air. I have been raising funds for various charities including, WWF, Cancer Relief, Alzheimer’s Society and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Cycling helps children with autism spectrum disorder ASD who can be prone to a number of physical challenges; I create programs focusing on play skills learning and self care. I have successfully coached children within this area leading up to one riding his own charity sponsored cycle ride to help others with ASD.
I also coach adults who have committed themselves to cycle a charity sportive requiring training to build up their confidence and speed and adults just getting back into cycling wanting to get fit and improve their lifestyle this is though www.bikecoaching.co.uk please look around my website.
